Shazzers, thank you so much for recommending the website to locate a Free Fair Debt Lawyer!!!!! I'm re-posting the link here, because I want to tell everyone that if you think your rights under FDCPA may have been violated by a collection agency, you should submit your info on this website and let the lawyers review it and let you know whether or not you have a case. It costs you nothing but a few minutes to tell them about what is going on......I submitted my info about Lighthouse Recovery Associates - all correspondence I had from them came on letterhead that said "Powell Law Offices" to make me feel threatened into paying them (and they were collecting for an unlicensed internet payday lender). I scanned the letters I had from them to the legal website, and the lawyers believe I have a case and they want to represent me - at no cost to me! Check it out for yourselves, like I said, there is no obligation on your part, but at least let someone with legal knowledge of FDCPA take a look and see if your rights have been violated!
