We have 3 credit card debts in collection, owe $8k; 1 other unsecured debt, $9K, 12 months behind. Three home liens: 1st mort, private individual, 2 months arrears, 2nd mort, in collection; 3rd lien for new HVAC system, $9K, in collection. Income not sufficient to cover payments. Debt resolution firms only deal with unsecured debt. Any thoughts for guidance? ...thanks.

You probably only have two choices, borrow money from family/fri
You probably only have two choices, borrow money from family/friends or 401(k) and settle these debts or consult a bankruptcy attorney to get out from under this.
