It say the SOL for Tx is for 4 yrs - the paper they have served are wanting me to agree that I owe. Is this a trick to be able to sue me for amount do.Are they just trying to scare me? I'm sure it has been more than 4 yrs. If not could I email them to send me account information?
If the Sol period on your debt is over, then they can't sue any
If the Sol period on your debt is over, then they can't sue any more. If you acknowledge the debt and enter into a settlement agreement with them, then the SOL period on the debt will restart. They can sue you for the debt thereafter. So, if you don't want to pay off the debt, then there is no need to acknowledge it.
