I agreed to allow citibank to automatically withdraw from my bank account to pay my credit card payment (to pay-off within 5 years, no longer using card and apr is locked to lower interest) had to call them three times as to why its not being automatically withdrawn. now their telling me I broke the agreement and my APR has now increased and they cant do anything for me! and its all my fault??!!!

Did you make any written agreement with them? Do you have a copy of that? Then you can send a copy of the agreement to prove that you have not broken the agreement. They should have informed you about the increased APR before.

By not making payments, the poster has broken the agreement. It sounds like you were put on a hardship plan. You need to call Citi and verify your account information with them and see if they will allow you to catch up the back payments and get you back on that plan.
