This company called my home number week after week with their automated service. When I finally called them back they were rude as hell and asked me to prove I had declared bankruptcy on this card in 1992. She finally said she'd remove my number from their records but I won't hold my breath. They flat refused to give me any information about the debt or themselves until I proved who I was, then I got a PO Box address in St Louis - P.O. 790113 / St Louis, MO 63179 / 209-800-1281. What a bunch of con artists!

If the debt has been discharged in your bankruptcy filing, then you're not responsible for paying it any more. Secondly, as far as I can understand, the debt is passed SOL. In such a situation, you won't have to pay the debt and the creditor/CA won't be able to take any legal actions against you. There are chances that the call might be a scam.
