I have an issue. I am writing on behalf of my grandma who has a debt with you guys, i believe she co-signed a loan for my mother and step-father. She is now being held responsible for this debt, being the co-signer I can understand that, but Why is my mother and step-father not being held responsible they both have jobs? They are enjoying there rides on my grandmothers expense!

You have posted to a public message forum....we are not the creditor.

As for why they are pursuing your grandmother, only the creditor can answer that. She may have the most visable assets. They maybe are being lazy, only pursing the first one they can find. Has your grandmother spoken up and given them contact and work information on your parents?

No she hasn't been able to get ahold of anyone. We don't know who to call. This started back in 2005. its well over 15,000 they told her she was signing a paper that just stated if they needed to get into contact with my mother and stepfather that could call my grandmother. So She told me she didnt know she co-signed the loan. Which is her problem she shouldn't have signed anything, but now we don't want to do. i've been taking care of grandmother is I was 12. I am now 23 and just heard of this. I have her credit report that show where this debt has been turned over to many creditors. Some are only on record until next month, what does that mean?
