major deragatory vs. charge off

can someone tell me the diff between a major deragatory (120 days plus past due) and a charge off --
as far as credit reporting goes --
are these both equally bad?

charge off is worse
a charge off is worse because that means the account is cancelled meaning the creditor has written it off so a charge off usually happens 150-180 days depends on the creditor,but a chargeoff is worse.try to settle before that if you can.
