CA validates but shoots themselves in the foot at the same time

Had a credit card charged off 6 years ago. Collection agency sent me a letter, I hit them with a DV letter. Yesterday I got the validation in the mail. The statements they sent me confirmed that my last payment was in June of 2006. It's nice when a collection agency validates and at the same time, proves that the SOL is expired (I live in Ohio where it's 6 years and my lawyer has already confirmed to me that yes the SOL has expired)
