Can someone kindly direct me to the rules of this forum? I apparently made a post when I was a guest that came off as advertisement, and now I've joined and am a member....however I do not see "rules of the board" anywhere, or a sticky either?
Please guide me?

Or answer me this? Was I told I couldn't advertise (placed my companies name, phone number, and website) because I posted as a guest? And now that I'm a member is it allowed? Am I able to post a signature every time I post that includes those items now that I'm a member?

Sorry just trying to follow the rules, but I don't know what they are at this time.
:confused::confused::confused:

Evenin' Joey -

Let me see if I can clarify this for you. The signature you have posted as of message #5 is not acceptable. I'm sorry, bud, but you may not advertise on this forum without prior approval from site admin. Them's the rules, and they're the same for everybody, regardless.

I'd like to direct your attention to our Terms of Service. In particular, to points #2, 9, 10, 19, and 22. These rules seem simple and easily understood. What, specifically, were you having trouble with?

Unclewulf I read 2,9,10,19,& 22.
By doing that what do I need to remove from my signature? I noticed that your signature includes a blog and I didn't think I could add something like that (forgive me I haven't clicked on your blog to see where it goes though)?
Can I leave my email address if nothing else?

Uncle Wulf's handy rule of thumb: If it's designed to drive traffic to your company, it's advertising. If it's designed to compete with companies who have paid to promote themselves through this site, it's gone. There's a right way, if you want to advertise here.

It certainly does. And you're most welcome to check it out. I must confess that I've been shamefully remiss in keeping it up, though. It's been about a year. Key point: There's nothing on my blog that's designed to make money, or compete with this site. In fact, I initially set it up as an adjunct to the work I do here. Which is also free, BTW.

Please see our ToS, article 12. Be advised, however, that members can contact you via private message. And that you can configure your account options to send you an email when you get a new PM.
