Has anyone had success with settling the second with Citimortgage?
I owe 120k, offered 5k, they countered 25k. I offered 7K then 9K, and they hinted they would accept 12k (10 cents on the dollar). So finally I offered them that, then they refused saying they would take 25k only.
My home is upside down, so if it forecloses, they get nothing.
Any thoughts?

Have you spoken to the same person every time you called? IMO th
Have you spoken to the same person every time you called? IMO the versions keep changing with each representative. You must get hold of someone higher in the ladder. Hopefully he/she would be in a better position to accept a deal. You must also get everything in writing so that you'd have documents as proof if they back off later on.
