I have medical bills that go back to 2003 when I was taken to my local E.R unconscious to know anything then while I was in the hospital I was diagnose with en stage kidney failure at the time my benefits started but since then the hospital as well as the doctors have try to collect thru an agency on one of the accounts is going to be due on this may 2010 and the others are due on 02/11 should I contact them or should I just let them go. the fact that they didn't collect from my benefits from our state play any role in my case please help.

Hello Magnolia,

Its little hard to read your post since you haven't used any punctuation. May be you would consider re-posting it.

Anyway, as much as I can decipher, you had a health policy at that time but the doctor's office hadn't filed a claim with your insurer, why? Haven't you given them your policy details? Wasn't ER covered under your policy?

Also, the debt seems quite old, what is the statute of limitation of your state regarding medical bill collection?

Please guide me to the right direction if I have missed out anything.
