Was dealing with bcr, account was set to charge off at end of month.I had been talking with one guy from bcr for about a month,he offered me 30% lump sum or 45% payments on a 10000.00 account and he would not budge from that.I could not afford a lump sum at 30%,so i decided today to call and instead of dialing in his extension i tried my luck with whoever i got, bingo! 30% divided in 3 payments. Now on to juniper,im already about 90 days with them so maybe when i get chase done that will time out just right. They will be my 4th and last one,i plan on keeping my discover current and called citi yesterday and got 0 for 12 months on 3 cards with them.I have those 4 plus wamu left they are current and never late. Those total about 12000 alltogether and i may just keep those current and not attempt settlement. If all goes as planned and i am able to settle juniper that will be around 45000.00 total debt i am free of.Thank God for this site because i was figuring bankruptcy before i found it and after i started reading all the information here i said what the hell,i might as well try it,so far,so good!

So you not only staggered your non payments but are keeping some cards current ? Did the cards you stopped paying on bring this up to you ? How did you deal with the question of non payment of some and not others ?

Thanks..UM

No one has ever mentioned it at all, they just want to know what happened to cause my particular situation,i said loss of income, and that's really all they have asked.I would add also that i ignored all their attempts to contact me untill around 150 days past due.
