I have recieved a summons from Asset Acceptance. What is my next step. Is it to late to work with without going to a mediator?
Did you send them a debt validation letter? You can force them
Did you send them a debt validation letter? You can force them to provide documentation during discovery. If they can't provide it then you can get the suit dismissed.
If they are trying to take you to arbitration, then you demand to see a contract signed by you agreeing to arbitration.
