Tax refunds, loans from relatives, selling extra car/household items, loans from pension plans etc. Also, by not making the monthly payments and saving the money for settlement. Extra job...... some of the ways.

agree 100% with aubrey. i got 5 cards im about to start with next week. my total minimums are around the $500 area per month. you figure if most cards don't start talking till about 120+ days, thats $2000 right there. if they all go 180 days thats $3000 just in minimum payments. during that time go find a part time job at a grocery store (don't let your pride get in the way), sell stuff on craigslist or ebay, ask family.

i also raised money before with odd jobs, selling stuff, etc.
