I was contacted yesterday by an associte concerning my husband, he died 4 years ago? I don't know who they are even trying to collect for? What do I do?

Tell them that they are required to send you a a dunning statement in writing! Ignore their calls! The debt is not yours and is also most likely beyond the statute of limitations! If there was an estate they a required to make a claim against that! It is probably to late for that also!
