Sometimes lawyers do call you if you have unpaid credit card debt. Lawyers can call you if they are representing a creditor/collection agency. Regardless, under the Federal Debt Collections Practices Act, they are only permitted to call you from 8am-9pm your local time and are not allowed to harass you with multiple calls.
