It is pretty standard..last four digits of acct#, date when payment is due by,Amount of payment, terms if I DON'T pay it, address to mail it in or number to call it in etc. This is all on their letterhead. The only thing that bothers me is my balance is no where stated on the letter..is this a concern????

Just spoke with Chase..letter is fine. Made my one time settlement payment...wow DONE!!! Chase is officially settled for me at 59 days late, balance was $10,800 and we paid $2,680.00....25%!!!! Now onto my other cards....

I just offered it what I could and she said ok..we accept..it was very simple.I would have done this last year if I knew it was going to be so easy! However, I still wish I was not in this situation at all, but you do what you have to do!

They held out at 30% for the last 3 months before charge off, and wouldn't bother with a 20% offer.
But maybe it depends what flavor of chase you have, and the underwriters determine the min to settle - I guess?
