Consolidation

I make all my payements on time at this moment but am finding it to be more and more of a challenge to do so. I want to consolidate into one payment but I also don't want this to effect my credit or require me to cancel all my cards. I have wedding in August and need some sort of emergancy card just in case. When you consolidate all the cards do you then require the customer to never use the cards?
No. What happens is that you take out a loan to pay off your ex
No. What happens is that you take out a loan to pay off your existing debts, then pay back the new loan with interest. So there shouldn't be any reason to close any of your credit card accounts.
