im in wisconsin and i have internet payday loans. wife lost her job and i cant make payments on them anymore. can anyone help with info??

This is technically incorrect. According to the state, a lender only needs a license to solicite for business via the internet. This means that if the borrower went to the lender unsolicited, the loan is valid.

Now, the reality is that an illegal lender will do nothing more than make your life hell with phone calls to you, your work and your references.

Do what Shazz asked and the "experts" will give you the correct guidance.

Yep, WI is kinda a loophole state.
