Has anyone heard of california commercial capital? I received a letter stating they had purchased an account in my name? Need to know if this is a legitimate business.

They emailed a copy of a loan document that I had several years ago. In the email they stated that if I didn't make a payment by the end of June that they would proceed with legal actions in my state of TN. The address on the email for them was 9360 W. Flamingo Road Suite 110-208 Las Vegas, NV 89147. The number is listed as 702-898-4222 or 800-579-1270.
I need to know if this is a legitimate debt collection agency as soon as possible.

The original creditor was Cash Call. I received a message from a rep with Cashcall them stating the account was sold on 7/31/2009 to Inland Capital Services in El Cajon, California. I am waiting on a call from them at this time.
The address I received from Calif. Commercial Capital is 9360 W. Flamingo Road Suite 110-208 Las Vegas, NC 89147 with a contact number of 800-579-1270. Could not get any other number from this person. Should I possibly contact someone about this legally? I don't want to send a payment to someone that is not legit.

Oh no, don't send a payment to a collection agency without first receiving a letter of collection via the mail, you are entitled to documentation, and are also entitled to requesting that they validate the debt, you want to make sure they are legally able to collect this debt, and that they are a legitimate company. Get everything in writing BEFORE you make any payments, and before you even admit to owing the debt.
