B O A changing the Agreement

I received a letter from BOA on the account I am alreday in default for 3 months and the balance is 12K, that they are changing my agreement which will go in to effect on Aug 2010. It talk about late fees and Arbitration. How this will effect me current effort to settle the account?
Any advice?
