I started receiving calls for my ex-husband. We have been divorced for 10 years. I was not surprised as I have rec'd many collection calls for him in the last year or so coupled with the fact that the deadbeat owes over $10,000.00 in child support and stole his own childs money out of the bank (nice guy, huh?) anyway, this place (Allied) did not leave messages but from past experience I found they have no problem calling bright and early on the weekends and I was going to prevent that from happening. I called and gave contact information (home phone/cellphones) to the representative who was kind enough as can be expected and told me sorry for the trouble and they will take me off the call list. Also from past experience with getting my ex's collection calls- I know they'll still call a couple times but eventually they get it and the calls stop-at least from this company. ALthough it's frustrating to be tied to such a loser I have found if you can offer them information in how to reach the person they are trying to find they will stop calling.
