settlement offer window
Date: Mon, 05/31/2010 - 15:05
I settled with a creditor recently and have a question about the settlement offer window.
They made an offer for 50% which they made good for 30 days from the date on the letter. On day 28 I sent the settlement amount to them, certified return receipt. When I got the green card back, I noticed they received the settlement on day 31. Will this void the offer they made (the fact they received it one day after the 30 days). Will they try to get the other 50% from me now?
thanks
