Need HELP, collection agency court date

Can you ask for Motion to leave before the actual trial date. The ones taking me to court are a collection agency. I did not know how to answer my original summons. I want to see if the collection agency can document the debt or where they hoping to get a default judgement

You mean a dv or debt validation? Actually it will be a law firm taking you to court. And it is a little late to be dv'ing although you can try.
