I just cancelled my program and settled with the cc company directly. The lawayer basicaly told me I had just wasted a year of money on something that I could have done myself. I had very little contact with my rep. until I sent them a cancellation letter, then they wanted to talk to me a lot. My advice, if you have the funds available, call the cc/collection companies yourself, tell them your situation and that you want to settle. I have had about 4 years of stress lifted off my shoulders this week. Good luck!
My experience with this company has been fantastic and Benjamin
My experience with this company has been fantastic and Benjamin has been great to deal with. As the old saying goes you can't please everyone all the time I guess.
Benjamin is anything but nice. A complete jerk, when pushed for

Disgusting company - DO NOT USE
Do not use this company they are horrendous. They will drop you like a hot potato if you dare question them at all. They have actually cussed at me and hung up because they billed me twice in the same month, and did not like me calling in to check on it. They are a total SCAM.

Yes, I had the same problems but to the 25th power, Sumer Patterson was the most rude representative that I have ever seen In my life. I was not only threatened several time to be dropped (although i had more than enough funds in my settlement) but I still had two wage deductions from two seperate creditors that I had enrolled in the program. Allied cancelled my account because complained about the service. They kept all the funds that was deducted from my account and basically told me to "kick rocks" I say thumbs down to Allied!!!!!!!

I too am displeased with my experience with Allied Consumer Services. I have retained a lawyer and have written correspondence from ACS employees that can be used against them in a class action lawsuit. Is there anyone who also has any written correspondence from any ACS employees?
just sue the bill collectors
If you are tired of getting the run around and getting side ways answers...
collectors being pushy, misleading, or causing you frustration...
visit www.debtmeout.com
Those guys got me the right attorney at no cost to me and about 3 weeks later the bill collector was fired, my account was back in the hands of Chase, and I got a check of $400 from the collection agency for my troubles...
I used the $400 and added another $233 to it to settle the debt... done deal...
bad experience the most rude people we have dealt with do not us

They drop you like the hottest potato. Take your money the first year. After that, their phone number no longer shows up on your phone bills and the emails you have received from them previously, suddenly you are not receiving. They have "proof" that the email was received to your email. Maybe it went to your spam. Well it didn't go to spam the entire time they were taking the money. Who do I file a claim with to get my money back!
They have been rude, un helpful and
I have had the same experience. Allied has called me a liar and threatened to cancel my acct several times because they have not been able to "contact me" even though I had enough funds in my account. I received a call before I was done with the program and they told me that all debts were written off and that I did not need to worry about anything any more, that I was done with their program. A few months later they contacted me saying that I owe them more money after they audited my account but when I asked them to explain to me why I owe them more they gave me a huge run around and then told me that since I was so stupid and difficult to deal with they will just write off the amount as a loss. So supposedly I am done with their program, and just recieved a call from a creditor (from an account placed with them) telling me that they are now beginning lititgation against me to solve this debt. Now Allied will not answer any of my phone calls or emails! I am so upset and I dont know what to do now!
