Question regarding summons
Date: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 19:42
Hi,
I received a summons from Chase yesterday (6/21) in the mail. The summons was filed on 4/15 which was about 2 months ago.
It states that "You have 30 CALENDAR DAYS" after this summons and legal papers are served on you to file a written response at this court and have a copy served on the plaintiff".
I'm so confused.....looks like I'm getting sued, but how am I suppose to respond when its way past the 30 days? I JUST GOT IT IN THE MAIL YESTERDAY!!
Please advise......
Thanks.

Read what you wrote...."you have 30 calender days after this summons and legal papers are served on you". You were served by mail.....
