I am unable to pay all my credit cards each month> I have an income but I have too many payments to make each month, What should I do? I do not own a house or car.

Juan,
Read the posts on this forum and beware of people who offer to fix it for you. There are many individuals on here who can explain the steps that you can take to get yourself out of your debt nightmare. Remember, there are also people on here who represent Debt Settlement and Consolidation companies. Some of these companies are good companies, but beware of ones who have been less than honorable.

Debt consolidation or settlement are great options. Debt settlement can be done on your own fairly simple. Many people are able to do it by themselves. Ask questions on this forum and knowledgeable people can help answer your questions. If you decide that you need a company to do this for you be sure to check the Better Business Bureau and ask about the reputation of any companies on this forum.

I think that you will find the people in this forum very supportive and helpful. Good luck to you.

Hi Juan,

In debt consolidation all your debts are consolidated into one. Thus, instead of making multiple payments per month, you can make a single payment. You can transfer balance from high interest credit cards to a low interest one. However, you should remember that it will be better to pay off the debt within the 0% balance transfer period. Else, your debt amount can increase in leaps and bounds. For more details on debt consolidation refer http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/diy/#debt-consolidation .

Thanks
