An Allied Interstae representative by the name of Steve constantly calls my home from 1-866-441-9576 asking for a relative whom doesn't live with me-i told him that the person he is looking for doesn't live with me and o stop calling here-after the representative was rude he called right back nopt once but 4 times in a row-being rude and vulger if i'm not mistaken--this is a lawsuit correct?

The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) states that a collection agency cannot use abusive language over the phone. Nor can they harass a person for somebody else's debt. Thus, you should file complaint with Federal Trade Commission for violation of FDCPA.

I filed a complaint today. They called for a family member and left a message that said "It would be in the best interest to call back in the next three seconds, or it did not matter he would make sure he sued for everything plus the time its costing him to call.." just rude.. I understand everyone has a job, but thats excessive.
