i have been with them for about 6 months; and although no debt has been settled yet; i just feel very safe and comfortable with them

paragon debt group

they from what they told me are just a marketing agency for a law firm; well a group of law firm.
and all i can say in this market with all the debt settlement scams; this is the only one company they actually does exactly what they have promised me.

i actually signed a retainer; for an attorney and along with everything god forbid i do get sued they will provide me legal assistance for not a penny out of my pocket. Well i have not gotten that far but its written as such in the legal retainer agreement.

they worked for me i am very happy so if your in debt give this guy a call

Greetings,

Just my 2 cents worth, but why did you hire a ds company?

I googled 'em and even though it came up pdg.....the animated woman said another company name.

That's a major red flag in my humble opinion!

I too, thought that I was going to sign up with an attourney.
His name was nowhere to be found on the contract.

I did check him out with the state bar as to current license, disciplainary actions...etc.

Please keep us posted on your progress.

Hello thank you for your 2 cents; well the reason i hired a debt settlement company is well my wife lost her job and we like the rest of the world went from a comfortable two income household to just be working. After her job loss forget any luxaries in life we could barely afford to pay our bills; thank god for having credit cards when ever we had an emergency i could rely on the credit cards to get me out of my jam. Well think thing i knew it was about 50,000 in debt, in way over my head with no light at the end of the tunnel.

i heard of Paragon debt group from a freind of mine that is also working with them and i he as embarassed as he was to tell me about it, he saw it helped him and i could really use the help. He gave me the info and well i was already late month to month getting collection calls and all these other harassing calls. Long story short i talked to the rep over at paragon debt group; he explained all they do is pre qual me and then turn me over to a liscened attorney.

Well i had 50,000 in debt they were able to take my payments $2,000 a monthly payments down to about 800 dollars a month; and pretty much prove me to that ill be debt free in 36 months; at at the rate i was going it would of took me 40 years so i closed my eyes took the leap of faith and here i am talking about a company that has just gave me and my wife such a peace of mind.

i know this is too person to talk about; but i have a very decent life insurance policy; if it wasnt for these guys and that rep and the attorney's, no telling what i would of done to make sure my wife and children were secure.

Happy to be alive: please remember......no debt is worth killing yourself over....my husband too had thoughts like that....and I think it is good to talk to someone about these. I know this is not the board to go into detail like that, but being far in debt can make you not think to clearly or do things that you would not ordinarily do. A few people close to me ....reminded me that "it is only money" ....I know how bad it can feel and be, but we have got to remember that things may be very different in time.....you never know what 5 years will bring or even two. Also, the feelings your friends and family experience would never be forgotten.....they would never get over it....We can recover from debt. Please remember this!!! No insurance policy can make up for what you mean to your family.....trust me....I've dealth with a few suicides both professionally and personally! Be kind to yourself!

Hello again "happy to be alive"

We've all been there, the never ending phone calls, more month than money, 30 years of paying this stuff off........etc.

This is a great forum and these folks in here have some great collective collective knowledge to share.

And yes there is even some humor during the journey.:)
Ever speak to an Indian the way they speak to you?

Yes, in the beginning it was depressing.
I look in the mirror every morning and see the person who did this.

But then I got mean.....mangey junk yard dog mean when it came to my stupidity...then I attacked and destroyed these debts.

Please keep us posted on your progress.
It's kind of a slow moving chess game.
Good Luck.
