Possible FDCPA violation

I had a collector call me the other day telling me that I owed a debt that I know I paid through the creditor. When i explained this to her she called me a liar and was really rude. About a week later I got a letter saying they investigated the matter and found it was paid and the case would be closed. Now my question is do I have a legal right to sue?

The CA had an account placed with them that shouldnt have been placed...the creditor made the error.
Let it go.
