I have few credit cards that i have not made payments on in a few years. But most of my debt is in medical bills. I want to get my credit cleaned up so i can buy a house. Would an arbitrator be able to negotiate medical bills. I think that one payment for all my bills would work best for me, But Im not sure how all this works.

You can consolidate your medical debt is by signing up with a Credit Counseling or Debt Management Company. These companies can negotiate with your creditors to settle for a lower amount and create reasonable payment plans that you can afford. However, you can also contact your creditors yourself and negotiate. Make sure that the creditors report the account to the credit bureau as "paid in full" or "paid as agreed" instead of "settled" after you pay off the debt. In other words, search for consolidation options that don't require your credit being degraded any further.
