Im trying to buy a house. An old cell phone bill that i never paid is holding me from buying this house. I tried to get in contact with the cell phone carrier, they do not have any records of my bill. It is still on my credit report. How can i get this off my credit report or pay it so it comes off my report?

If the cell phone provider don't have any records with them, why don't you dispute the account with the credit bureaus? The second thing, can you tell me how old your account is. You also wrote that your account has gone to the collection agency named Pinnacle Credit.

Contact Pinnacle Credit and negotiate about the debt. Once the amount is settled, get the agreement in writing and pay it off. Also, request the CA to report the account as "Paid in Full".

But, if you want to remove the account from your report, then you'll have to negotiate with the CA as well as the OC. Most companies don't agree to 'Pay for Delete' agreements, so it's up to your luck.
