Finding a new job with a garnishment?

Hey all,
I have a garnishment that won't be paid off for another year or so. I have found a great new job I want to apply for, but I'm scared to even go for it because I don't know how they'll react when I have a garnishment.
My questions are:
Do I tell them up front?
Can they fire me if I don't tell them up front?
If I call the company who is garnishing me and present them with my new pay stub and promise to pay them 25 percent will they even consider this?
Or should I talk to a debt counselor and try to file bankruptcy?

However it you choose this route, watch your bank account. They will swoop in for a levy quick.
