Nations Recovery Center

I have an account with Credit One Bank that is apparently in default from 2008. I use to have a Credit One Bank credit card, but thought it was paid in full and closed in 2009. Anyhow, my account has apparently been turned over to Nations Recovery Center. I received a letter from them and immediately sent a debt validation letter to them via certified/return receipt US Postal Service. I received the return receipt back from the Post Office, so I know Nations Recovery Center received my letter.
Question, what happens next? How long do they have to send me the info. that I requested (Agreement with Credit One that authorizes them to collect, agreement that bears my signature where I agree to pay, and complete payment history)? The continue to call me 5-7 times a day. Am I required to talk to them? Please let me know what to expect. Thanks.

Answer the phone and tell them you've sent a debt validation let
Answer the phone and tell them you've sent a debt validation letter. Tell them the day they received it. Tell them you will not discuss the account until you receive proper validation. Unless you're in TX, there is not a time limit for them to verify. In order to properly verify the account, they need to send you the original contract (with your signature) and show how they arrived at the amount they claim you owe.

I sent this company a debt validation letter and also cd letter via certified mail, return receipt. I received the return receipt back from the postal service, so I know this company got my letter. They are calling 5-7 times a day at work and cell phone number. I have told them several times, that until I receive the debt validation from them, I will not discuss this matter. How can I get them to stop calling my work and cell? They are driving me crazy!

The only way to get them to stop is to send a cease and desist letter. But C&Ds are all or nothing. If you do actually owe them money, they may sue.

Nations Recovery Center keeps calling me over and over. I sent them a debt validation letter via certified mail (which they received Sept. 17). I have received nothing from them as far as validating the debt. They continue to call both at home and work 3 -5 times a day! I have told them a couple of times that until I receive the debt validation from them, I will not talk to them. However, they are calling continually. What rights do I have under FTC? Should I file a complaint? Should I send them another letter telling them to stop calling? Need Advice please.
