I'm considering taking long distance schoolin. This will bill me $29.99 a month on my checking account visa from my bank. i am also considering a ldebt consolidation program. If I follow the debt consolidation; will this affect my school billing ??
Are you planning on settling your Visa account with your bank?
Are you planning on settling your Visa account with your bank? If so, they'll likely close the account so that would mess up your monthly billing. My bigger concern is what kind of distance learning are you taking for $29.99 per month? That sounds fishy to me. Are you sure it's a legit company?
Hi OP, Can you tell us the name of the institution and the prog
Hi OP,
Can you tell us the name of the institution and the program so that we can have a look into it too???
Please, do not sign up for anything without looking into whether
Please, do not sign up for anything without looking into whether or not the school has the proper credentials. I have never heard of a legtimate program for $30 per month
Anything done on a debit card would be coming straight from your bank account...it would not affect or be eligible for debt consolidation.
Good point, Soap. I saw Visa and assumed an actual credit card
Good point, Soap. I saw Visa and assumed an actual credit card through the OP's bank. It does look like the OP is referring to a debit card which, as you said, would have no bearing on consolidation.
I'm still worried about this $30/month distance learning. Sounds WAY off to me.
