Hi Nelly.
I am writing to you regarding my dealings with Regent Asset Management Solutions. Apparently, US Bank sold a charged- off checking account I had to Regent about a year ago, in which I struck up a payment plan with Regent by paying $100 a month on, they say, a $1600 debt. Come August, Regent just stopped deducting the $100 anymore, and when I tried contacting them to see why, the number was disconnected. I even went as far as contacting US Bank to get an alternative phone number for them. That number also came up unavailable. About 3 weeks ago, they finally contacted me and proceeded to tell me that if I didn't have the last two payments upfront, they were going to start a law suit against me. Also, they mentioned that they never received payment for January, February, March, or April, although I have debit card statements to prove that Regent indeed deducted $100 from my account, every month consistently from November 2009 until July 2010.
The reason I am contacting you is because, not only, has your site revealed that Regent Asset Management received a "F" rating from the BBB, but also reveals their fraudulent activity. I need to know whether or not I should continue doing business with them. I've already given them $1000.
Much Thanks.

Did US Bank sell it to them or place it with them? Obviously US
Did US Bank sell it to them or place it with them? Obviously US Bank has informed you that the debt is being collected by Regent so their collection activities is hardly fraudulent.
