I had a guy call me today from 253-242-9255 named jim threating me im going to jail for check fraud and two other felonys but i have a payday loan that im still paying and i havent missed a payment so i told him to take a hike and that he cant cal me at work and he told me to get a lawyer what should i do.

Have you googled the number? You will get a lot of information there. The scammers are, probably, calling from India. File cases against them with your local police authorities.

do as paul advised.file a police report.then use search the number,or name of the company he gave if he gave one,and file FTC,AND AG complaints.this idiot broke the law in threatening arrest as debts are civil matters.file the report and complaints.then hang up in his face when he calls again.have your boss and co-workers do the same.
