The information on this site in priceless. I have 5 PDL's and I live in MD, which, as I have found out on this site, has prohibited PDL's for a long time now. Amazing how these idiots still latch on. As I sat down and figured out how much I've overpaid, it makes me sick to my stomach. After reading the advice on this site I closed my checking account and reopened another. Will see what happens tomorrow since it's payday. I just finished sending my C&D letters, so I guess we'll see what happens. I just can't believe I put my family in this situation, but I've learned from it. It was starting to suffocate my. Whether to pay these loans or feed my family and keep the power on. I poured over this site for hours gathering as much information as I could. I still need to file my complaints, but I will be doing that over the weekend.

I to am very grateful to this site - today was the first pay I had for a long time, where
most of the money stayed in my account and I can get back on track with paying my
legal bills, mortgage, utitilies, etc. I still have a few pdls to go - but I am so grateful to
God and all of you for getting me started on clearing up my pdl mess and starting to see
light at the end of the tunnel. I cannot put into words the relief I felt going to the
bank ATM this morning and seeing more money left in. I use to dread going to the bank on payday - knowing I would only have a little left or be overdrawn.
This site is so knowledgable and a true blessing

This IS the place, isn't it? Great site, great people, lots of help. I would also suggest, as you live in Maryland, to contact the MD Dept. of Financial Regulation in Baltimore for any help THEY can give (hey, many hands make light work!). Their contact info is listed on this site under MD State laws for PDls.

Yes, they are on my list to contact. It was nice today when I checked my account to see that I actually had money in the bank and my paycheck was secure. I'll be glad when this is over and I can get my finances back on track. I do hope I get some refunds from these scoundrels (I can't post what I really think), but I'm not holding my breath. I'll be glad just to get PIF letters/emails from them.
