I took the plunge 90 days ago to try and settle my debts. I understand not to mention settlement too early but does it help to say anything to the CC companies about considering bankruptcy? Does that help with a settlement offer? Thank you for any advice and I apprecaite all the insight here. This has been the worst time of my life and I can't wait to get this over so I can move on. The stress is terrible and it is hurting my marriage.
