I can't find when my debt was settled. It is still listed as a judgment and unpaid on EquiFax credit report. It was paid in '04 to Direct Merchants.

Don't you have the settlement letter? It's strange that you do not know when your account has been settled. Dispute the account with the credit bureau. They will carry out an inquiry and will remove it.
