i owed chase 8,000, i am behind 3 mos, i have a house and car, can they sue me and go after my assets
They could sue you and, if they win a judgment could put a lien
They could sue you and, if they win a judgment could put a lien on your property, checking account and/or garnish your wages. Your best bet is to try to work out a settlement with them. If you can come up with about 40% of the total amount due over a 90 day period, that's a good starting point. Are they calling you? If you can't afford to settle, perhaps you could contact them and request being put on a hardship plan. Do you have income? Are you able to pay anything?
