Any Advice? Should I let my acct go to charge off?

I have a line of credit with BOA that is 6 payments past due. I'm in their hardship program and have been paying my payments on time for several months. The problem is that I cannot pay this month. I am 8 months pregnant and had to go out of work early. My account got so far behind because I was unemployed for a year and even during that time, I attempted to make payments as often as possible. I was told when I called in that if I missed anything else, my account would get charged off. Should I let that happen? Should I asked to talk to someone about settlement? What are my options?

If you cant make your monthly payment, how will you pay for a settlement?
If you let it charge off, six months from now you may get a good settlement.
If you've been paying on time for several months, just call them
If you've been paying on time for several months, just call them and tell them you can't make the payment. They'll work out an alternate due date for you.
