I was hurt at work and have been unable to work for the last 2 months, and looks like i will be off longer as they are talking about back surgery. I had to get a lawyer to handle the workmans comp side. I do get 60% of what I was making when I was working, but that Is almost 2,000 a month I am losing. I am doing my best to pay rent and have utilitys on but have fell way behind on my credit cards as well as my 2 personal loans and 1 month behind on my car payment. I am really lost here and have no idea what to do. I am not that worried about my credit score at this time, well I am but it went from a 684 too a 448 sence all of this started. Im needing a way out or a way to deal with all these places just until I get back on my feet or when workmans comp settles my case.

I feel for u HOF! I am about to have my L3,L4,L5 fused in my lower back. I worked,or should I say worked for DTV for 7 years. Was making 65,000 70,000 a year and now nothing. I will end up on bottom and it was my site managers fault on the injury. Oh well. I will keep my head up and do what I can do and deal with everything else when I can. One question when this is all over and I have an income coming in again what would be the best and fast way to get my credit back on track

So sorry to hear about your back.

Have you made any progress with your creditors yet? I'm guessing that as your accounts' delinquencies progressed, they were probably willing to be more attentive to your needs.

Please update us. Thanks!
