allied collecting back state taxes?

Can or does allied collect back taxes for the state of california? I have twice had them collect back taxes from me at $50.00 a month. I paid over $300.00 before they refused and returned my last money order. I always thought the state collects back taxes by whatever means they can legally...holding refunds,garnashments etc. Did get scammed out of my money by allied? Ed
Yup...they do. They collect quite a bit for the franchaise tax
