I was told that I signed up for a loan and never received it now they have lawyers calling me stating that I have stolen the money. Told me that I owe the money and I needed to get an attorney hired to take care of this. I have my bank accounts it never shows a 400 dollar loan. Also I asked when I received the money they stated that they could not tell me that I have to have a lawyer call them. Why is this happening?????

because even if you never got a loan just by applying for one it opened you up to scammers that try to use illegal tactics to scare money out of people.first file a police report as you were harrassed.second if you have the name of the pdl file AG,AND FTC complaints asap.then ignore them.you never got a loan, and these supposed lawyers are nothing of the kind.just scammers lying to scare you.however i would watch your bank account now or close it and open a new one as that one will never be safe again.

I've heard that by applying for a credit card or loan (with a bank or a credit card co.), we're actually agreeing with the creditors to share our names with other creditors or illegitimate companies (which often have a virtual presence only). Is it true? Can't they protect our identity? If it's true, I have every reason to believe that it's gonna destroy a long-term bond that we share with our bank.

well not always.only ipdl sites, and sub prime cc sites seem to be the main culprits.however if you go on a site check to see if it is a secure sight.meaning any info posted will remain in that site and not be compromised.most if not all bank sites, and merchanys have that feature.you will see a window stating such.something like.

you are about to got to a secure section do you wish to continue?or you are about to leave a secure scetion do you wish to continue?if you see those then the sight you are at is secure, and any info will not be comprpmised.
