I have recieved several phone call from my US Bank credit card that I am 30 days late on and the lady whos been calling has been telling me get a job very rudely, its not her problem that I have debt, to watch children and to even work under the table(WHAT)....So, my question is: can credit collectors make you get a job? I know they can;t really so to speak, but since 'm a stay at home mom and have been for 6 yrs and my Husband was laid off with 5 hrs notice and I obligated to the credit card companies to get a job?? These 3 credit cards are in my name only...

Personally, I don't know about debt collectors who help debtors get jobs. Neither can they behave rudely with you. I would suggest that your husband should get a job as early as possible. Alternatively try to find out some ways to make money from home. Send a written request to the US bank to validate the debt. If they can validate the debt, then try to settle the debts on your own.
