I got a letter from the IRS i owe them money because of a Cancellation of Debt with this Cach, llc. It states that I owe them money from 2009. I'm confused and need some advise. Thank you.

You should contact a CPA or a tax adviser and take his opinion in this matter. If the debts has been cancelled, then it'll be considered as your income and you'll be liable for paying taxes on the forgiven debt to the IRS.
