Came home for lunch had a call from these people. The call was for my deceased wife Carol. She died 1/4/2010. Not sure what they are calling about. Wasn'tr sure if I should call them back and open a can of worms. This is distrubing as I am trying to move on, and now this. We had been married for 33 years.

If you did not own the debts jointly with your wife, then the creditor/collection agency cannot call you for your deceased wife's debts. I hope you've informed them that your wife is deceased now. In such a situation, I don't think you'll receive any further calls from them. If you do receive any further calls from them, you can send them a cease and desist letter and ask them to stop calling you as your wife who actually owned the debts is deceased now.
