i received a call saying i owed so much on a past payday loan. and that if i didnt attempt to pay it that day they were sending a summons....but i went thru all my records after i got off the phone and i have nothing in regards to the titan group llc....but they claim the loan was taken out in 2008....so i gave him my information but now i think i got scamd....is there any way to verify the loan? or to see if the collection agency is ligit??

Yes, you have been scammed. These illegal debt collectors buy old junk debts without adequate information and then, they start to harass people. Have you given them your account information? If yes, then you will have to close your account to protect it.
