My son has about 1700.00 in traffic dept that has gone to three different credit companys.
I want to pay these off for him but am afraid to call them how can I do this?

In my humble opinion, you son needs to pay off his own traffic tickets. He is not going to learn if he doesnt feel the pinch from his own pocket.
If you must pay these off for him, call the collection agencies. You will have no problems calling to pay an account in full.
